Ontario Science Centre: Festival of Flight and Star Party

Join us to mark the arrival of NASA’s Juno spacecraft at the planet Jupiter with a musical performance, activities and special presentations on space flight and exploration - including observing the sky through telescopes (weather permitting). In the event of inclement weather, activities and presentations will proceed indoors.

8:00-8:30pm - Performance by music group Rajasthan Josh
Rajasthan Josh features 7 musicians and 1 dancer and is known for its electrifying sound, driven by rumbling Nagara drums, soulful strings and vocals that dip into Sufi traditions from the 12th century to the present day.

This event is presented in collaboration with the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada: Toronto Centre, the Aga Khan Museum and Ismaili Centre Toronto.

Festival of Flight is a weekend family festival inspired by flight, the sky and the stars. Throughout the weekend, the Aga Khan Museum, Aga Khan Park, Ismaili Centre Toronto and the Ontario Science Centre will be animated with family programming that ignites all the senses: signature musical performances, hands-on art workshops, demonstrations with rockets and birds of prey, exhibitions, films and activities exploring the human fascination of looking up at the sky and stars, and looking down at the earth from space!
