Video: Dance of the Red Planet

Ron Macnaughton, a Toronto Centre member, gave a presentation on the orbit of Mars compared to Earth's orbit and the best times to view the Red Planet. Ron went on to explain that Mars is the most solid object that we can see details subject to dust storms. He then went on to explain when dust storms seem to occur and possible explanations for their origin. He gave this talk on July 18, 2018 at the Recreational astronomy Night meeting held at the Ontario Science Centre.
