Catherine Woodford, a PhD Candidate at UofT Physics and the Canadian Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics presented a talk on Gravitational Waves at the RASC - Toronto Centre Speaker's Night held on March 7, 2018 at the Ontario Science Centre. She covered what gravitational waves are, how they are detected, their significance and where the research goes from here.
