Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, Toronto Centre affirms our commitment to increasing diversity and inclusion in our membership and public outreach services:

The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, Toronto Centre (RASC-TC) supports non-violent protest and dialogue aimed at addressing long-standing issues of racial inequality, including discrimination and violence against Black and Indigenous people and people from all minority communities. We are committed to providing an atmosphere that encourages the free expression and exchange of ideas in a harassment-free, friendly and respectful environment and to regularly examining our activities and practices to ensure they do not exclude participation from specific communities of people. RASC-TC believes in equal opportunity and treatment for all, regardless of race, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national or ethnic origin, religion or religious belief, age, marital status, and disabilities. We oppose all forms of unlawful and unfair discrimination.
