Believe it or not, most of the elements in our body are made of stardust. Iron in our blood, calcium in our teeth, oxygen in our body…all of that and more came from stars! How and where did these elements form? Stars come in a variety of sizes so what type of stars produce such elements? How did these elements end up here on Earth and in our bodies? Let’s take a 13.7-billion-year journey through the universe to learn a little bit about the evolution of the stars and to uncover the origins of these elements.
