Ever felt frustrated when trying to use your astronomy skills to find an asteroid in the night sky? Well, Arushi and Artash Nath have come to your rescue with their DIY Asteroid Astrometry using Python. According to Wikipedia, Astrometry "is the branch of astronomy that involves precise measurements of the positions and movements of stars and other celestial bodies." Did we mention that Arushi and Artash are in Grade 6 and 9 respectively? If you feel a little inadequate with the scientific skills that you had in grade school and afterwards, you are not alone. Arushi and Artash are both members of the RASC, Toronto Centre and gave their presentation to the online meeting of the Recreational Astronomy Night, which was held on February 3, 2021.
