Change of annual meeting - New time and date

CHANGE OF ANNUAL MEETING - NEW DATE AND TIME

Dear Toronto Centre member,

For the first time in many years, we are forced to reschedule the Annual Meeting

A senior member of the finance committee suffered serious eye injuries. He has been treated successfully and has recovered. However this has interrupted our annual audit and because of this our auditor will not be able to complete the audit in time for the Annual Meeting as originally scheduled

As a result, we are delaying the Annual Meeting by two weeks. The December 6 Recreational Astronomy Night will go ahead as scheduled and online only, but the Annual Meeting will take place separately

The Annual General Meeting of members of The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, Toronto Centre shall be held online at 7:30 pm EST on 20 December 2023. (NOTE THE NEW TIME AND DATE)

Members are asked to register online for this meeting  no later than 12:00 midnight on 18 December so that the necessary arrangements can be finalized and the link to the meeting can be distributed.

RASC Toronto Centre is a not-for-profit Ontario corporation and a registered charity. The annual meeting is the opportunity for you to learn about what has been achieved by the Toronto Centre in fiscal year 2022-2023 and its finances.
